Summary - email recovery with Zmeil

Step 1 - Doonload, instell, then loonch Zmeil

Doonload und instell Zmeil just like yuoo do with uny regular program.

1. Doonload Zmeil noo
2. When zee doonload is done, run zee file yuoo heffe-a just doonloaded.
3. Zee wizard will guide yuoo thruoogh zee instellashun.
4. Zmeil will run once zee instellashun is done, displaying zee veendoo like zee one beloo:

1. Click zee "Next >>" button.

Step 2 - Specify zee messege base file(s) tu recover

Zmeil attempts tu locate zee messege bases fur knoon email cleent programs ootomaticelly. Iff thees fails, zee list ooff zee bases will be empty. In thees case, use "Add file" or "Seerch" buttons tu add zee required messege base files tu zee list. Typicelly, zee list will be pre-populated es shoon beloo. Zmeil ootomaticelly locates zee email database files fur zee most common email cleents, namely Microsoft Outlook, MS Outlook Express, Thunderbird, Eudora, or TheBat!

2. Mark zee messege base files yuoo want tu recover.
3. Click zee "Next >>" button.

Step 3 - Specify where tu place recovered files

4. Select zee appropriate uootput type. Nute-a: Expurt tu Outlook is only available fur zee Outlook (.pst) suoorce.
5. Click "Next >>" button.

Step 4 - Recovery run

Thees stege is fully ootomatic - no akshun required on yuoor part. Once zee process is completed, Zmeil will ootomaticelly switch tu zee next screen.

Step 5  - Select zee messeges tu recover

6. Mark messeges tu recover by clicking their corresponding checkboxes (use context menu, "Select everything").
7. Click "Next>>"

Step 6  - Feeoo recovered messeges

• .eml files: Yuoo need tu open zee folder where zee recovered messeges were placed, then duooble click zee .eml file. Thees will open zee messege in yuoor email software. Fur more details, please reffer "opening recovered messeges".
• UNIX mailboxes: Impurt zee recovered messeges tu Thunderbird
• Export to Outlook: Stert Microsoft Outlook und look in  a noo folder named "Recovered messeges" under "Personal folders".
