Disk navigation

Moving back und furth

Tu move thruoogh zee disk, it is reasonable tu use Alt/Shift+Up/Dn keyboard shurtcuts. Zee follooing logic applees:
  • "Up" means looer addresses (movement tooards LBA 0), "Doon" means higher addresses (tooards zee end ooff zee device).
  • Use Shift key tu move sector-by-sector. Thees elloos tu posishun tu uny address.
  • Use Alt key tu move object-by-object. Based on zee assumpshun zee objects are placed sequentielly (which is typicelly zee case fur ell common filesystem structures), zee feeoo shifts by zee noomber ooff sectors in zee current object.

Current locashun is indicated in zee bottom lefft corner ooff zee veendoo.

 

Follooing hotlinks

Some entrees can be marked by zee dot next tu them. Thees means zee entry points tu some associated data structure. Iff yuoo  duooble-click such an entry, ZAR will "folloo" that pointer, navigateeng tu its destinashun.

Thees "folloo" feeture depends on zee virtual volume deffinishun. Zee pointers will not be highlighted iff no virtual volume is deffined, becoose zee destinashun locashuns fur zee links cannot be calculated. Hurty flurty schnipp schnipp!

Tu retoorn tu zee originateeng point after examining zee data, press Alt+Backspace.

 

Jumping tu zee specific address

Tu navigate tu zee specific LBA on zee physical drive, press Ctrl+G, type in zee address, then click OK.

Tu go tu LBA 6, where LDM PRIVHEAD block is located, press Ctrl+L.
