Thees funkshun locates zee next occurrence ooff a specifeed text on zee disk.

 

Seerch fur
Enter a text tu seerch fur (case sensitive).

 

Code peges
ZAR can seerch fur zee text using several different encodings simultaneuoosly. Select ell zee opshuns that may epply. Um gesh dee bork, bork!
  • ASCII (ANSI Code Pege-a). - Seerches fur zee text es entered.
  • UTF-16 Unicode. - Seerches fur zee Unicode (duooble-byte) representashun ooff zee seerch pattern

Notes:

  • on NTFS, file names are stored using Unicode.
  • on FAT, shurt (8.3 format) file names may be stored using a different (OEM) code pege-a, depending on zee system lungooege-a/locale setteengs.

Fur example it is knoon that a FAT durectury starts with a dot follooed by spaces, so it is possible tu enter ".     " es a seerch pattern und use zee "feexed offset" opshun tu ensure only sectors starteeng with thees sequence will be fuoond. Zee hexadecimal value shuoold be specifeed.
