I have zar 8.1 and when I recover a disk bigger than 200GB I always get the message: you donīt have enough space.
It always says the double size of data that was recovered, even if I have a 250GB large disk, it says over 450GB data recovered.

ZAR tends to bring in more data than there actually is on the volume. Consider
All the older versions of files possibly on the volume will be detected. Although in most cases the recovered older versions will be broken, ZAR still attempts to recover them.
If ZAR mistakes something irrelevant for a system structure (directory), phantom files will appear. These have random size (with quite large an average).
You need to review what the selection indicator says, "X GB in Y files selected", at the bottom of the file/folder tree. In case this amount is excessive, browse into the file/folder tree to identify what occupies the most size. This would most likely be a bunch of strange large files in a single folder. Deselect these and you should be fine.
