I'm running Windows XP Pro SP2. The volume I'm trying to recover is on a Maxtor external HD. The volume went missing on me and I when I tried to recover it, I received an error. Take a look at the last picture in the attached zip file.
I would appreciate some help. I would attach the log file but is is 85MB in size. And even when I used the maximum compression zip it is still 10MB in size. Let me know and I will send it along.

Please send zipped logfile to development@z-a-recovery.com so I can investigate.
In the meanwhile, I suggest you disable filtering in "Advanced Configuration".
Start ZAR,
click "Advanced Configuration",
switch to "Common filesystem analysis",
clear both items in "Filter out" section.
Click OK to close configuration window and
retry the scan.

I've received the log file you emailed. Still investigating it, though.

I've tried but I was unable to reproduce the problem. Although I think the damage is not extensive, ZAR identifies all the files as invalid (pointers to the file seems to point outside the disk). This does not look right, but being unable to duplicate this behavior here, there is nothing I can do for you.
I have just refunded your order, and I do not think we can be of any further assistance.
