User error reset my ACER Aspire 5000 to it's factory setting with their own erecovery system which overrides Windows system restore. I lost all files, including outlook express with about 500 messages stored. Zar did a great job locating document files, but I am trying to use Zmeil with no luck. If I direct to search the external hard drive that I saved the recovered data, nothing will show up. Using documents and settings only brings back the lone message from Microsoft in Express.
