Hi, I recently built a new computer that had two drives on a RAID0 setup, however on the second day the power supply shorted and now I am going to have to wait for the MB to replaced on warrenty. The problem is I moved all my backup files to the RAID before I moved it to my 3rd HD on the new computer.

I am currently using my older computer again until I can get the new one working again, I would really like to save these files though.

Would I simply connect both SATA drives to my older computer and use ZAR to recover the files?

Yes, provided there are available SATA ports.

Another option is to wait for a replacement mainboard, then attach drives to that mainboard and see if the RAID gets picked up properly.
