Hi
I'm running ZAR 8.3 and getting this message every time:
Thread fault IdentThread
Any ideas?
Many thanks
Matt

Could you please post here last 50 or so lines of the log file, C:\Program Files\ZAR\logfile.txt so I can check at which point it occurs.

Hi Alexey
The last 4 million or so lines in the log file are all:
Bad sector encountered @LBA XXXXXXXX disk 0117
That doesn't look good for my disk but I think the reason for error may be memory (RAM), zar.exe consumed all the free memory on the PC (Dell laptop, 2Gb RAM, running Vista)
Cheers
Matt

Seems like records of bad sector addresses have used up all the available memory. If there are indeed that many bad sectors on a device, it is not practical to run ZAR on it. If you are sure there is no cabling/connection problem, then I think that's beyond our capability.
