After I installed your program to retrieve photos I accidently erased, everything went fine until I tried to save the retrieved photos. At that point I got an error message informing me the file was too large for my hard drive.

Thinking I must have done something wrong, I deleted the file and tried to start over. That's when the problems started.

I'm using a Microsoft XP system and have a Dell Photo All-In-One Printer 942 that has three PictBridge ports. The memory card is a Transcend SD 2 GB used in a Nikon Coolpix P1 camera.

Now when I insert the memory card, the pop-up screen on my printer (I have it in Photo mode) gives me the following message: "There is a problem reading the memory card. Ensure that it is not damaged and is inserted correctly."

When I try to run ZAR, the capturing device (my AIO printer) will not appear on the list. When I try to add it, ZAR will not accept it. The only capture devices that show are:

0100 - ST340014A - 38146MB - Port: 0 - Bus: 0 - Target: 0 - Lun: 0
0101 - Maxtor6G160P0 - 149GB - Port: 0 - Bus: 0 - Target: 1 - Lun: 0
0102 - Dell Mass Storage USB - 0MB

How do I get ZAR to recognize the memory card? I've tried different settings within ZAR and even reinstalled the program. Have also turned off my computer and disconnected the power cord.

I'm at my wit's end on this.

Thanks for any assistance you can provide.

Ron

If you insert a card into camera, and attach the camera, does ZAR recognize this setup? Also, maybe you have some different card reader, not that built-in into the printer?
