What do you think the chances are of Zar recovering images from a ReiserFS? My friend had all of the pictures of his new baby on a Western Digital 500gb netcenter Nas device. It started reporting errors on the disk and his pictures dissapeared.
I've removed the drive from the nas enclosure - mounted it in windows xp (not as a drive - and I've not added the dynamic drive update to it) and ZAR can see the drive. I've added a manual partition (via zar) with the whole drive and started a scan. its at 80% of the full scan now - but its not shown as found any files yet. On the drive map its found file system areas and data areas.
A google around says that this device used reiserFS - not altogether sure of that, but has anyone sucessfully used this to get images off a similar FS or drive?
