Lost contact list after scanpst and pst recovery

I had a file 2.2 gb in Outlook 2000 and it was very slow. I ran scanpst, didn't work. Ran oversized pst recovery utility, cut file to 1.95 gb, ran scanpst, directed outlook to new pst file and it runs smooth.
Except! No lost and found folder, and no e-mail addresses in my contact list!!
Any ideas? Keep them simple, I am not so computer savvy. Thanks.

If you missing your messages, you can try Zmeil as described here - http://www.z-a-recovery.com/outlook-recovery.htm.

However, Zmeil does not restore contacts; and I'm not aware of anything except ScanPst that does.
