Encoding problems, all Attachements are broken

Hi,
zmeil helped me a lot by recovering several thousands of mails.

Thank you!

But I did experience a major issue with wrong encoded attachements.
None of them can be opened with the corresponding application.
Please help me it is very important to me.
Here a sample:

I tried it on your test sample and it did produce the correct output.


as far as the root of the problem is concerned, we are working on it, but I do not think we can have the issue fixed (i.e. to the point that it just produces correct messages) in less than three days.

this update found way less files in my inbox and when I looked up the details to any mail with attachement, it seemed to me that it mixed data from several mails, because sender informationen did neither fit to title nor to the content. But at least was the attachement of the tested sample working.
Does this help to work on a fix?

I think the best course of action for now is to save the garbled attachments to disk and then convert it using that converter tool we crafted, because we have difficulty reproducing the second part of the issue (mixed messages).
