My daughter yesterday while placing my laptop down, wasn't careful, and it slid down. Unfortunatly, it was in the process of shutting down. The main drive won't load up XP.
I pulled it out, and put it in an external SATA cage that I have, and put the USB onto my main PC.
The computer "sees" the drive, but the size is 0GB. I trolled the forums, and set the settings on ZAR so it could access the drive.
It was doing fine, got through the quick phase, but then hung about 2 hours into the other phase.
The logfile.txt is 1.52GB!!!
This disk has many family pictures and some home video, and we would love to recover some of it.
BTW my pc is a quad core intel, and I am running 2GB RAM, and Vista.
Please help!
