What specifically does Zmeil look for when recovering email? Are they specifically a result of deleted or corupt? Could they still appear in the inbox as an active message? I'm working on a legal matter and need to make sure they would have only been recovered by Zmeil if they no longer existed in the available email folders.

Thanks!

Zmeil would recover whatever there is in the file, regardless of the deleted status. Zmeil is designed to recover damaged data, rather than to be a forensics tool. With damaged data, sometimes it is not possible to determine reliably what is deleted, so Zmeil recovers all possible messages.

So, no luck - the message WOULD BE recovered even if it is still available via regular mail folders.

and BTW I've emailed you couple days ago on some specifics, did you receive that?
