I just downloaded zar to recover pictures from my Canon Digital Rebel XT. When I get to the "Select A Pysical Drive" screen, my camera does not show up. What is the problem?

I just downloaded zar to recover pictures from my Canon Digital Rebel XT. When I get to the "Select A Pysical Drive" screen, my camera does not show up. What is the problem?
You need to use a card reader then.
Remove the card out of the camera and use the card reader to access the data.
