Can't recover files...

Hi,
I've a 8.0 lisence and I've updated to 8.3 and now I can't recover data from my 300 gb HD.

In 8.0 I were able to complete the scan and data recovery but now in 8.3 I can't complete scan... from the same HD...
Is it normal?

What exactly is "cannot complete the scan" like? Any error message or specific failure point? What the filesystem type is?
