Default HELP PLEASE!

I just started using the ZAR photo recovery program and I was just wondering if either a) will it recover every single one of my deleted photos? Or b) will I have to purchase the software for it to recover an unlimited amount?

If the answer is a), is there a way to select this option? Because right now the program has recovered only about 400 images for me.

Thanks! Any information would be great.

ZAR recovers digital photos for free - just follow the istructions in the photo recovery tutorial.

So the answer is "a") - you can recover unlimited number of digital files (photos and videos) just using demo version of ZAR and selecting the "Image Recovery (Free)"mode on the ZAR first screen (see tutorial).

Hope it helps.

Thanks for your tips Yulja, but after running the program again, I am STILL unable to recover every photo from my camera, even after following every step of the recovery tutorial from the link you posted.

Is there something I may be doing wrong? There has to be, as I've taken over a few thousand photos altogether and am only left with about 400?

Is it that the program may not be recognizing all the photos? Or am I not choosing from the correct settings on the side bar? Are you sure the demo version is capable of recovering every photo? If so, what would be the point of having a full version available for customer purchase? There is something that isn't adding up right here...is there a moderator reading this that may be of some assistance?

Please help, any information would be great!

Thanks guys!

For a photo recovery, there is no difference between demo and full version.

You should try both "Image recovery" and "Data recovery" modes on the first screen, to see if maybe "Data recovery" brings back more data.

Also, would be nice to know what the original problem and the damage were?

Thanks for your tips Alexey, but it still does not work...it just pulls up a few random folders, no pictures

Is there a customer service center I can call to get step-by-step help with this? Really want to know what's going on here...

Or are there certain settings I need to change under the "Advanced Configurations" box.

Anyone else having difficulty with this?

Thanks.

UPDATE:

I just tried recovering my photos using an alternate software program with the same results; it recovers the same EXACT amount of photos as ZAR does.

Coincidence, I think not! I guess there are some photos on the memory card that are just not being read/recognized. Does anyone know why this is? It's very puzzling to me.

Also, I was wondering if INSTEAD, is there a program that is able to recover photos that were once on a computer's hard-drive? Because I know I once saved some of these important photos there...

Any information would be great! Thanks!
