I have an external 1TB iomega hard drive which has suddenly started reporting that it is "uable to be read".
I downloaded the latest ZAR (6.14). I ran it (Limited Demo Version) and selected Data Recovery for Windows / Linux. After approx 3 hours the Mark Files to Recover screen appeared, and listed all the folders & files that I expected . The validation process started, and I let it run for a little bit. Then I read that you don't have to wait for this to finish. However I was unable to select any of the files/folder. Is this expected? Do I need to wait for the validation to finish? Or is this a limitation of the "Limited Demo Version"? ![]() Thanks |

In demo, you can only select 4 folders maximum. It does not allow you to select more folders once four are selected. This may give you an impression of not being able to select.
