Hello I am new here. I just ran ZAR for the first time on a harddrive partition that was getting read errors with bad sectors. I did a scan/recover using ZAR and saved the files. They showed up with the correct file extensions (.doc for Word, .xls fir Excel, .pdf for Adobe Acrobat) but not were formatted correctly, just gibberish displayed by the corresponding application. Any ideas?
Thank you |

What was the filesystem type - FAT or NTFS?
