Exclamation Grainy pictures

I used the software to recover picutres and although the software did recover all my lost pictures, about 70% of them are not readable with HP image zone. They come through to view, but are grainy and are not able to be edited. Is there a way to fix them?

No way. This effect appears when only part of the file is correctly recovered. In this case, you see a thumbnail or part of the progressive-mode image, at much lower resolution and/or distorted. This happens when the files were fragmented before deletion, and there is nothing we can do to improve result.
