copying from digital camera card hangs up after 250 of 555 files what do i do?

There should be a file name displayed when it copies the file. You need a number from that file name. Restart the run; select all files for recovery, then go and deselect this particular file (numbered N), and the next file (numbered N+1). Check if the rest of files is copied OK.
