I've been using ZAR 9, the free image recovery tool, to recover pictures from a memory card that unformatted itself. Everything went great, and I was able to see all the pictures in the preview, and then I saved it to an exisitng file. However, when I checked the file, the pictures weren't there. So I tried again, and this time saved them into a different folder. But again, I can't find them. What am I doing wrong? Thanks for any help

Sometimes it happens that the path where you store the files is too long.
Try saving somewhere simple, like C:\Recovered
