Hello, I was hoping you could help me with a problem Im having...
Last night, I ran ZAR on a hard drive that had failed a week ago. I went through the recovery process listed on your tutorial (on a purchased version) and was able to see a list of all the deleted files on the drive. I selected which files I wanted to recover and put them on my hard drive. After recovering, I went to access the files and not a single one of them are able to open. None of the .jpg files I recovered can be opened, none of the .exe (program installs) files I recovered can be run and none of the internet explorer favorites can be opened. When I was looking at the file tree, there most of the files were listed as gray or green and when I look at the log file, it says a bunch of files were skipped. Is there anything I can do to view/use these files again? Thanks for your help ryan |

There is very little I can tell you without seeing the log file. Please ZIP the log file, C:\Program Files\ZAR\logfile.txt, and email it to me at development@z-a-recovery.com

Maybe you got something mis-set at first run. Well anyway.
