can you recover pictures from a reformatted flash drive using the ZAR, digital camera recovery program??

Would work given that
  1. The flash card is reasonably small in size (I'd say 2GB or less).
  2. Images are of the supported format (mostly JPEG, TIFF, CRW).
  3. "Recover digital images" mode is used.
