Files recovered but unreadable?
Hi, HDD crashed at the weekend. I bought ZAR and recoved all the files to an external HDD. When I access the files, for instance .doc or .xls etc they're just full of meaningless characters. Also .jpg just says preview unavailable and nothing comes up.
Any ideas? Thanks.

Could you get the log file, C:\Program Files\ZAR\logfile.txt, ZIP it and email it to me at development@z-a-recovery.com for an analysis? Without this, there is little I can tell.
