I was hoping to recover images off my hard drive for free, but this takes ~10 hours and at the end i am left with about 30,000 images from random internet temps and system icons to sort through. I saved my status as i was going to leave this for later, only to find that I can't re open the file to look through the images with the trial. I can't sort through 30,000 images in one go! Thus I can't use this. Any free solution?

Ours free option is designed for memory cards. I'm actually surprised it worked for a hard drive. I do not recall any free program that would work reliably on a hard drive.

So I ran it again on the hard drive, and then just saved all of the pictures so i can sort them out later. It saved 41,000 files and 130GB of jpgs, gifs, and mov's. I know what I'm doing this weekend. Thanks for the trial option!
