Disk Viewer overview

	Disk viewer capabilities
	The disk viewer is designed to assist a skilled person in assessing the volume condition. It provides search, navigation, and view augmentation for the most common on-disk structure formats. You may found it useful in computer forensics as well. Important note: the disk viewer does not allow to modify the data. This is by design.

	Opening disk viewer
	You can invoke the disk viewer by right-clicking the device in the physical devices list, in any of the recovery modes. It is possible and in some cases it is useful to open several viewer windows (e.g. one per drive). To open multiple viewers, just switch back to the main window, then open the additional disk viewer.

No messing about, does exactly what it says on the tin!!! Tried three other freeware solutions with no luck, but 'Zero Assumption Digital Image Recovery got them first time. The names a bit of a mouthful and the interface is nothing to write home about but who cares it gets the pictures back safely!
