Hardware-assisted recovery

The Copyrsoft device is basically a power relay controlled over RS-232.
It is useful when the drive locks up after encountering a read error.
Once ZAR detects that the drive has locked up, the relay is cycled, resetting the drive.
Both data recovery and disk imager in ZAR would use the device if it is available.

COM Port - the port to which device is attached.
The port should be setup to use "8,N,1" mode in Windows Device Manager.

Break time - The amount of time to wait after the drive is powered down before powering it up again.

Spin up delay - The amount of time ZAR waits after powering on the hard drive before the first read request.
