Import address book

	How Outlook Express stores contacts?
	Outlook Express stores contacts in a special file with a .WAB file type (extension), short for Windows Address Book. The Windows Address Book file is located in the %APPDATA%\Microsoft\Address Book What is a %APPDATA% thing?; you will also need to adjust Windows Explorer settings to show hidden objects - the Microsoft folder is hidden from view with the default system settings. The name of .WAB file matches the name of your Windows user profile; how to find user profile folder?

	How to import contacts into newly created OE profile?
	Start Outlook Express Select "File" -- "Import" Select "Address Book..." Specify a .WAB file to import contacts from (see section above) Click "Open" Wait until the import completes
